Hi, My Name Is Abby Marin

Feng Shui Certified Interior Designer

I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but after graduating from high school I longed to travel. I went to school for design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and after graduation I took a gap year to teach English in Luoyang, China. Once moving back to the US, I joined an interior design company called Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) training for 6 months in the Los Angeles headquarters before joining their Hong Kong office. I worked in Hong Kong for the next 10 years, while also overseeing projects throughout Asia, France, and Australia.

I moved back to Grand Rapids in 2012 to be closer to family and have been involved in contract projects in hospitality, residential, healthcare, and furniture design through my interior design company Marine Blue Studio. In 2019, I received my feng shui certification and started Cascade Feng Shui for this design work.
